To get married in Cyprus, you’ll need a valid British passport, certified birth certificates, and a statutory declaration. English, Welsh & Northern Irish pairs may also require a 'Letter of No Trace' from the General Register Office. You will also need to decide if you want a civil or Catholic ceremony and allow yourself a few days in advance to register your marriage at the local town hall. Legal documents must be completed no more than 11 weeks before the ceremony date.
Cyprus wedding packages start from under a £1500, making that dream beach wedding affordable and accessible. The beauty of the surroundings and weather mean that even the most basic of packages don’t need much adding to them, however if you’re looking to add some extra special touches and wow your Cyprus wedding guests, we can make that happen too.
Guests attending a wedding in Cyprus should be mindful of the country's hot climate, especially if you’re attending an outdoor wedding. Opt for light, breathable fabrics and avoid anything dark-coloured. All guests should still dress as per the couple’s dress code but there are a few measures you can take to ensure your comfort during a sunny ceremony.
Cyprus is good for a wedding all year round. For hotter temperatures, aim for peak season (June-August), but for some gentle sea breeze and cooler weather, aim to get married between March-April or closer to October.
